WILPF National Virtual Congress

May 30 - June 2, 2024

Humans are using up dwindling amounts of fresh water all through the world, but particularly

in industrialized countries. Experts will be talking about this and offering solutions. Indigenous

entertainment, updates on what is happening in WILPF US, and much more will engage all attendees for a 3 day virtual Congress..... plus 2 pre-Congress events with more entertainment and water topics.

The congress committee reached out to the local Native Americans in Minnesota, mostly Dakota and Ojibwe, who actively protect the rivers, lakes and groundwater of the state. In Minnesota, as in the rest of the country, we found that local Native Americans are forming alliances with peace groups and environmental groups. We can learn from each other in our united quest to save the planet and work for peace.
